Hello friends today I will show how create a 3d Skylight effect tutorial
I have used following techniques shown below in this 3ds max tutorial.

[1]-First of all you will press (ctrl +N) now you will see the new window is open
Click on the Geometry > Standard primitives > Teapot.
Create a box with the following size
(Radius: 36.0)
Now set the Teapot like this on plane

[2]-Now apply the Shell Modifier and use the following setting

[3]-Open material window and click on the diffuse map button
Select the Falloff map and click on the None Button
Now pick the wood map

Assign the material to the Teapot

[5]-Select the Teapot and apply the UVW Map Modifier
Now select the Spherical mode with the following size
