Here, I am going to show you, how to make a 3d snooker table in 3ds max.
I have used following techniques in making of this tutorial.

[1]First, go to the Shapes and take rectangle of this size.

[2]You have a shape like this.

[3]Again take rectangle of this size and add extrude modifier.

[4]you have a shape like this.

[5]Then take line and create a shape like this and adjust it.

[6]Copy it one times.

[7]Then take a cylinder of this and copy it three times.

[8]Place them like this.

[9]Take a plane in the top view port.

[10]Select the outer part and Press M and take black color and apply it.

[11]Select the inner part and turn it into green.

[12]Select the stand and do the following settings.

[13]This is the final result.
