Here, I m going to tell you, how to make a sofa couch in 3d max.
I have used following techniques in making of this tutorial.
[1]Firstly, create a plane of this size in the top view port.
[2]Go to the Extended primitive, took chamfer box in the front view port of this size.
[3]Copy the chamfer box.
[4]Place it like this.
[5]Then go to the compound object, took BOOLEAN and apply it.
[6]This is your image.
[7]Convert it into Editable poly.
[8]Then go to the modifier panel and pick FFD 4×4x4 modifier and apply it.
[9]Select the lattice and adjust it like this.
[10] Again take a chamfer box in the front view port and copy it.
[11]Select both the chamfer box and again copy it and place it like this.
[12]Select the chamfer boxes and apply FFD 4×4x 4 modifiers as done before.
[13]Again do the same.
[14]Place it like this.
[15]Select the whole object, and press M adds a good map in the diffuse panel.
[16]Now select the plane and press Modifies color as black, open map, click on refraction
select ray trace and apply it.
