Glossy murky blue website buttons with stars

In this free photoshop tutorial I am gonna make one of those glossy web 2.0 free photoshop tutorials.

I will explain here in step by step where I will show all the adobe techniques and tricks that I used in making this tutorials.

If you have a website design that needs some button, then take a look. ofcouse this all images are copyright protected on this site but you may use these photoshop cs3 technqiues and create your own image.

[1] Take a new file of 400 pixels,400 pixels, of resolution 72 dpi in the RGB mode.

[2] Take the Ellptical Marquee Tool.

[3] Make the new layer and create a new shape fill the new shape with black color.

[4] Now go to Blending Option use the following settings.

[5] Your image should be look like this.

[6] Now create a new layer then draw another shape, and fill with blue color see in the next image.

[7] Take the Dodge Tool.

[8] Use the Dodge tool insite the circle see in the next image.

[9] Now take the Gradient Tool use the following settings.

[10] Make the new layer.

[11] And now Drag the Gradient Tool as shown image below.

[12] Drag the Gradient Tool, but this time Bottom of the image see in the next image.

[13] Your image should be look like this.

[14] Now take the Shape and select this one.

[15] Now create a new layer and fill the shape with black color.

[16] Go to Blending Option use the following settings.

[18] Make the 3 copy of previous shape layer and arrange the shapes see in the next image.

[19] Now take the Pen Tool create a new shape as shown image below.

[20] Make the new layer fill the new shape with white color.

[21] And now change the Blending Mode of new shape layer see in the next image.

[22] Your image should be look like this.

[23] Take the Shape Tool and select the shape see in the next.

[24] Make the new layer fill the new shape with any color would you like, and set the Opacity as shown image below.
